Melton C. Johnson
FRANKLIN—Melton C. Johnson, 82, died April 21, 2009, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
Mr. Johnson was a Southampton County native. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Johnson and LeAnna Johnson.
He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Edith F. Miles of Franklin; a sister, Mary Ball of Philadelphia, Pa.; and a very dear friend, Rosa Duck; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Blunt officiating.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
