Annie M. Faulk
FRANKLIN—Annie Mae Faulk, died March 31, 2009, while a patient in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
On Oct. 7, 1933, she was born to the late Pat Patterson and Lelia Guy in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Faulk was a member of Muhammad Masjid No. 11 in Boston, Mass. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Reneé Faulk, one son, Theodore Faulk, and one grandchild, Theodore Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Calvin Faulk Sr.; her children, Earl Faulk (Mary), Debbie Anderson, Leroy Abdul Jabbaar (Amanda), Rufus Faulk (Leslie), Ulala Faulk, Hosea Faulk, Lelia Faulk, all of Boston, Mass., Calvin Faulk Jr. (Diane) of Texas, Twana Faulk, Odetta (Marlin) Allen of Portsmouth, Mecca Lankford (Tony), Sabrina Sykes (Dupont) of Suffolk, and Wali Faulk (Katina) of Franklin; one sister, Sheba Barboza; four brothers, Percy Brown, William Brown, James Brown and Arthur Grant Brown; 37 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Full Gospel Kingdom Church, 1538 Carrsville Highway, Franklin, with the Rev. Terrance Johnson delivering the message.
