Julia H. Ricks
ZUNI—Julia Hazel Ricks died March 9, 2009, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, East Pavilion.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Duck and Colia Carr.
She was also predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Ricks and son, Warren Ricks.
Survivors include her granddaughters, Katina Gallien (Ernest Jr.) of Williamsburg and Kisha Bowers of Windsor; great-granddaughters, Sunnidae and True Julianna Gallien; her sister, three brothers and stepgrandchildren, Bridgette Clowney of Kannapolis, N.C., and Leroy Clowney III of Charlotte, N.C.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, Windsor, officiated by the Rev. J.J. Ferguson and Pastor H. Carlyle Church.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
