Brofton C. Boothe
WINDSOR, N.C.—Brofton Clinton Boothe, 69, died March 3, 2009, at his residence.
A native of Holland, he was a member of Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church, Colerain, N.C., where he was a SWAT Team member.
He was a retired plumber at Planters Peanut Co. in Suffolk.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah Mae Lee Boothe of the home; sons, Clinton Boothe Jr. of Chesapeake, Eldridge Boothe of Powellsville, N.C., Darnell Earl Lee of Windsor, Isaac Lee of Smithfield, Bishop Thomas E. Lee of Colerain, Ervin R. Lee of Knightdale, N.C. and Mervin R. Lee of Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Sharon Darlene Boothe Brooks of Newport News and Karen Boothe White of Salisbury, Md.; brothers, Henry Boothe of Gates, N.C. and Bernard Boothe of Suffolk; and sisters, Edith Slemp of Portsmouth and Clarice Rascoe of Gatesville, N.C.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church with Bishop Thomas E. Lee officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, N.C., is handling the arrangements.
