Jo Ellen Weston
CHESAPEAKE—Jo Ellen Weston, 79, of Hopewell Drive, died Feb. 9, 2009, in her home.
Mrs. Weston, a native of Greensboro, N.C., was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Young.
She was married to the late David H. Weston for 62 years prior to his death just four weeks ago.
Survivors include four children, Carolyn Bass of Suffolk, Joey Weston of Franklin, David “Hot Rod” Weston II (Ruby) of Chesapeake and Brenda Umberger (Carl) of Portsmouth; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Eva, Pauline and Earlene.
A private family funeral will be held today in Meadowbrook Memorial Mausoleum, Suffolk, by Chaplain Christian Biscotti.
Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements.
