Franklin’s 50th Celebration, Gala postponed to Feb. 17

FRANKLIN—The City of Franklin’s 50th Birthday Celebration and Gala has been postponed to Friday, Feb. 17, at the Paul D. Camp Community College Regional Workforce Development Center.
Orginally planned for Friday, Dec. 9, the change is due to a scheduling conflict.
Music will be provided by Bustin’ Loose during the 7:30 to 11 p.m. event. There will be hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and door prizes.
Tickets are $25 and benefit the Franklin Boys & Girls Club. Tickets will be on sale after Jan. 15 at Downtown Franklin Association, 120 S. Main Street; Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce, 108 Third Ave.; Franklin City Hall, 207 West 2nd Ave.; Bronco Federal Credit Union, 135 Stewart Drive; Fred’s restaurant, 107 S. Main St.; and The Village at Woods Edge,1401 N. High St. Tickets may be purchased by telephone or mail from the Downtown Franklin Association. Make checks payable to DFA.
Tickets purchased for the Dec. 9 event will be honored or can be returned for a refund.
