Allen J. Butler
FRANKLIN—Allen James Butler, 78, died Jan.. 29, 2009.
Formerly of Willow Grove, Pa., he was a son of the late Clarence and Alice Butler and was a retired quality control inspector.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Susan Marie Butler; two daughters, Sandra Duby and Denise Benales; two sons, William and Scott Butler; one step-daughter, Kathryn Monti; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen, Kenneth, Ben, Ryan and Megan.
He was predeceased by a son, David.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with the Rev. Edmund Pickup Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 146 Franklin, VA. 23851.
