Rollins E. Silverthorne
COMO, N.C.—Rollins Earl “Buddy” Silverthorne, 63, died Jan. 7, 2009.
He was born in Pitt County, N.C., a son of the late Jessie R. and Olivia Beacham Silverthorne, and was predeceased by two brothers, Eddie Brown and Roland Silverthorne Jr.
Mr. Silverthorne was a retired painter and a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice “Pat” Hand Silverthorne; three daughters, Kay Jackson, Patricia Silverthorne, Rhonda Pierson; two sisters, Margie Story, Ola Gray Spence; and a brother, Johnny Brown; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Revs. Willis Switzer and Michael Brown officiating.
Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms.
