MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Carrie D. Tann, 62, died Dec. 8, 2008, at Duke University Hospital, Durham, N.C.
She was a native of Northampton County.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald E. Tann of Murfreesboro; her mother, Margaret Hicks of Murfreesboro; one son, James Earl Tann of Philadelphia, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Sherry Martin of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Clayton Hicks Jr. of Murfreesboro and Jimmy L. Hicks of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Vickie Dickerson and Rebecca Hicks, both of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Luther Morris Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in the Tann-Pope Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, are handling the arrangements.
