Raymond McClenny Sr.
ZUNI—Raymond Wellington McClenny Sr., 76, died Nov. 10, 2008, at a local health care center after a long period of illness.
Mr. McClenny was the son of the late Robert Mac and Ada Pierce McClenny.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Theodore and Gillispie McClenny and one sister, Cleo M. Barrett.
Survivors include a loving and devoted family: his wife of many years, Patricia McClenny of Zuni; one son, Raymond W. McClenny Jr. and wife Toni of Chester; one daughter, Felicia McClenny and Kenneth of Richmond; one brother, Andrew and wife Mildred Jones McClenny of Richmond; one sister, Dr. Edith Griffin of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, Raymond III, Ian and Taylor McClenny of Chester and Erin McClenny of Richmond; two sisters-in-law, Portia McClenny of Wakefield and Mildred Sykes McClenny of Zuni; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
A funeral was conducted Tuesday in Little Gilfield Baptist Church, Ivor, with the Pastor E.E. Mitchell Jr. officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
McClenny Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
