Leona D. Daugherty
WINDSOR—Leona Darlene Sexton Daugherty, 75, died Nov . 2, 2008.
She was born in Marion, the daughter of the late Nona and Auther Sexton.
Mrs. Daugherty was also predeceased by her daughters, Patricia and Barbara Huffman.
She was a member of Suffolk Church of Christ and the Ladies of the Moose Chapter #1315.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Alben B. Daugherty of Windsor; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley A. and Sam Clark of Corapeake, N.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael C. and Robin Huffman of Zuni; grandchildren, Ronald L. Chittum Jr., Deborah C. Simpson, April M. Huffman, Michael L. Huffman; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; half sisters, Marie Autrey, Jackie Ellison and Nancy Duck; half brothers, Thornton David Sexton and Richard Sexton.
A graveside service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Skip Francis officiating.
Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, is in charge of arrangements.
