Melvin and Carmen Scoggins of Boykins announce the engagement of their daughter, Shavon Scoggins, to Anthony Robinson, the son of Rufus and Denise Mason from Franklin.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Essie Johnson of Boykins and the late Lillian Johnson, and Mary Lee Turner of Boykins and the late Linwood Scoggins.

A graduate of Southampton High School, she is a counselor at Coral Academy of Science in Las Vegas.

Her fiancé is the grandson of Joseph Stephens of Franklin and the late Hattie Stephens.

He is stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas.

They will marry July 7, 2012.
