LETTER: How far does your value meal go?

To the Editor:

Well a $5 value meal is still $5. The portion size may have shrunk a little bit. But the post consumer waste part still goes as far as ever. From the time you make your purchase the litter begins. It starts with the straw wrapper being tossed out the window. Then as you finish up the fries that container takes flight too. The sandwich wrapper might make it back to the bag that it came in along with the receipt, napkins and ketchup packets. Almost home as you finish up the drink. This is the last call for trash out the window. The cup, bag and contents are now strewn all along the roadside. This makes your value meal stretch to almost 5 miles or more. Please exercise the choice not to litter
