Feeding seniors and families in need

Bon Secours Southampton Medical Center partnered with Sedley and neighboring villages to donate 70 meal kits that provided enough food to make 700 holiday meal plates for seniors and families in need in nearby rural communities. Additionally, there was enough left over to give fully prepared meal plates, which Sedley planned to prepare and deliver on Thanksgiving Day. “We expect to provide, in total, between 900 and 1,000 meals to our seniors and families in need this holiday season,” said Emma Swann, Bon Secours Hampton Roads director of public relations and communications. We commend Bon Secours, Sedley and neighboring villages for this tremendous work they are doing to help those in need.
